Description

Panini is Known as the power house of Sports cards as they have been in the card industry since 1961 and got their start in Modena Italy since then they have had several locations in Europe and America.

Below I have posted a link to a video that shows the manufacturing of cards and the shipping.

The process first starts with slitting which begins with a wide panel of sports cards going down a conveyer belt and being split into individuals card for packaging this process makes it easy as your are able to knock out a whole group cards or a set fast.

Next step is collation which is match each card to it set or in the sequence the card must be in with its others. this process divides each card and groups them in category as they go through the production line.

Over-wrapping is the next step as the cards are put in to assorted piles and then put on the manufacturing as they are wrapped in foil single packs. Then singular foil packs are put into a group of other singular packs which turn it into a retail box but the number of packs depends on the promotion.

Finally shrink wrapping takes place as a thin coat of plastic wrap is added to the box for protection and a clean shiny look. After the retail boxes are put into larger shipping boxes and are sent around the world.
