Summary: The Dragomont Fortress was released in the Imaginext line of toys from Fisher-Price which was bought by Mattel in 2011. This line of toys were developed as a way for both boys and girls to inspire creativity and heroism. The Dragomont Fortress was the only toy in the line that had gotten a short film based around the toy although more were planned as made evident in the aforementioned film. This toy in particular was more geared to a male audience. The ability to disassemble and assemble the set in different fashions helps to spark some of the creativity that kids hold and the figures that come with them help kids to make their own narrative for the characters. This set also includes a fall trap, a bucket that topples over when a certain button is pushed, spring loaded launchers, a turning lava pool, lights and sounds and finally functioning doors and window shutters.
