A More Inclusive World, A More Inclusive Barbie

After the semi-failed launch of the 2016 Barbie Fashionistas, it would take four years for Barbie to release another inclusivity line. The 2020 Fashionistas included a range of immunocompromised, disabled, and diverse Barbies.

These Barbies represent a new front as nearly everyone comes from various ethnicities and races with several hair and eye color options. This line truly gives a customizable experience to little children to find a relatively inexpensive doll that looks just like them.

In the 2020s, Signature Barbies also gained much traction on the market. Two in particular where the Dia de los Muertos and Lunar New Year Barbie. They are no longer the "Hispanic" or "oriental" Barbie, but a doll representing a fundamental part of a culture.
